Star-studded charitable event for NI Sporting Legends
The Sporting Legends Lunch recently took place at the new Waterfront Hall to support leading charitable organisations Sport Changes Life and Mary Peters Trust.
Hosted by James Nesbitt and supported by the Rory Foundation, the Sporting Legends Lunch aimed to celebrate and support the important work that these organisations carry out in helping young people realise their full potential through sport.
Attended by world-class sporting talent from Northern Ireland who gathered in support of Northern Ireland charities the Sport Changes Life Foundation and Mary Peters Trust, the festive lunch and fundraising event featured familiar faces including Superbike World Champion and Sports Personality of the Year 2017 nominee Jonathan Rea, boxers Jamie Conlan, Ryan Burnett and John Conlan, Irish GAA and basketball star Kieran Donaghy and rugby star Paddy Wallace, along with NI Football Manager Michael O’Neill and BBC sports presenter Stephen Watson. The event celebrated and supported the important work that the organisations carry out in helping young people realise their full potential through sport.
