Team Massive had an exciting morning in the office this week as we received a new addition to our collection of Awards! We are absolutely delighted to have won the CIPR Gold Award for our Non For Profit campaign with Bula Batiki!  Our award win was announced on Friday 13th October at the annual CIPR Northern Ireland Pride Awards held at Culloden Estate& Spa, where leading agencies and individuals working within the public relations industry were recognised in front of industry peers.

Northern Ireland local Tim McKee worked in partnership with partners Callum and Ellis, to develop non-profit social enterprise Bula Batiki following a trip to Fiji. Bula is galvanising those on Batiki Island and neighbouring islands to make use of natural resources for the advancement of their communities.

Bula Batiki is the only coconut oil which can be traced to the family who has produced it.  Processed by hand by residents of Batiki, it is shipped to the UK and jarred in England.  Raw, cold-pressed and high-quality, it’s made from virgin coconuts untouched by pollution and pesticides and sold in speciality shops throughout the UK and Ireland. 100% of profits go to Batiki to improve infrastructure, sporting programmes, and education.

Having previously launched the leading brand of coconut oil to market in NI, Massive employed our expert knowledge of coconut oil to promote this brand with an ethos, supporting Bula Batiki in its launch to market and setting it up for future sales success within the competitive coconut oil market.

With our finger on the pulse of which journalists were familiar with coconut oil and its applications, Massive created a targeted campaign to identify the various media contacts with vested interest in the product from its various angles including: charity, beauty, food and drink, and conscious consumerism.

This recent award was especially exciting for Massive, as our team thrives on working with ethical brands and organisation and we are delighted that the CIPR judges also acknowledged our work, commenting:  “This well researched campaign delivered excellent results for the start-up, not-for-profit business, demonstrating fantastic value for money through a creatively led campaign.”
